Case Study: Let's Get Social
Weber Shandwick is one of the world's largest creative agencies, with offices across the globe and an impressive portfolio of clients. Thirteen Eight has worked with the marketing and management teams at Weber Shandwick for over 7 years, conceptualising and creating visuals, events, videos, award entries, internal and external campaigns and materials for the EMEA network.
Thirteen Eight was asked to come up with a concept for a campaign to help Weber Shandwick stand out at London Social Media Week. Thirteen Eight came up with the idea of taking the much loved 'emoji' craze, and bringing it into the physical world. Designed to be a fun, human and light-hearted way to engage with people at Social Media Week, it was a massive success. Weber Shandwick built on the idea with blog posts and insights into the emoji phenomenon, and it was also used as an internal marketing campaign - getting staff to choose and share their favourite emoji on social media. The campaign was such a success that London Social Media Week tweeted about it themselves, and it also formed the basis for a 'Christmas Emoji' internal campaign at Weber Shandwick. Thirteen Eight conceptualised and designed all collateral - both print and online, as well as a custom design for Google Cardboard VR sets and large format stand banners.
